PETER WASSON

Peter Wasson is the Managing Director of OHS Media Services Pty Ltd providing:

* Employment and workplace safety solutions for the film, television & communications industries
* The production of interactive multimedia education/training resources
* An e-learning platform for the delivery of accredited training courses through OHS Media RTO (Registered Training Organisation)

Peter is a management consultant, OHS practitioner, auditor, workplace trainer & assessor and media producer. Prior to undertaking professional studies and experience in compliance management, Peter was a successful educationalist, television producer, Executive Producer and senior television programmer & buyer for the ABC and SBS Television. Peter commenced his professional life as a high school teacher and Senior Education Consultant for the NSW Department of Education where he was instrumental in writing and implementing the Mass Media K-12 curriculum. Peter is a graduate of the Australian Film, Television & Radio School. Peter Wasson has provided OHS & compliance management for features such as Star Wars, Stealth, Ghost Rider and for production houses including Screentime, Granada Australia & FremantleMedia.

Peter Wasson's academic qualifications include: Bachelor of Arts, Graduate Diploma of Education, Graduate Diploma of Media, Diploma of Business, Diploma of OHS, Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment & Training, Certificate IV in Workplace Safety, Teachers Certificate. He has also completed WorkCover NSW Rehabilitation Coordinator and Supervisors courses.
