Welcome to the Communication Council's on-line accredited OHS training course for photo-shoots – ‘Monitor a Safe Workplace’ (BSBOHS407A)

Occupational health and safety (OHS) training is an important component of an effective OHS management system and a legal requirement under OHS laws. Advertising Agencies as the employer must provide OHS instruction, training and information particularly with regards to the legislative risk management and consultative provisions that workers (employees, crew, freelancers & contractors) are required to participate in.

To assist the Advertising industry meet these OHS obligations for photo-shoots the Communications Council in conjunction with OHS Media Services through the WorkCover NSW Assist funding program has developed an on-line OHS training & assessment course – ‘Monitor a Safe Workplace’ (BSBOHS407A) the compulsory OHS unit from the Certificate IV in Screen & Media (CUF40107) under the industry national training package.
